What's Most Important

What’s most important to keep in mind before you purchase your hearing aids. The following is our humble opinion of what everyone should know the answers to before making a hearing aid purchase.

  1. What kind of service is included?
Willoughby provides unlimited office visits at no additional cost to you.

  2. What is the dispensers experience level?
Willoughby dispensers are State Licensed and Board Certified professionals. Our Dispensers have 279 years of combined experience and an average of 18 years each helping patients with hearing loss.

  3. Availability?
Willoughby Hearing has 10 full-time locations from Medford to Vancouver. Also, as part of the Audibel (manufacturer) network, you have access to over 1,000 convenient locations across the U.S. and beyond. (www.audibel.com)

  4. State of the art equipment for testing and fitting.
Willoughby uses the practice standard for testing our patients. Make sure you receive the following, Otoscopy, Audiogram, Speech Discrimination Test and a comprehensive demonstration.

  5. Testing provided before, during and after a fitting to maximize benefits.
Your natural hearing issues don’t stop with hearing aids, so neither should the testing. Willoughby updates your personal audiogram and speech scores every twelve months to ensure maximum benefit from your hearing aid. Updates and changes can be made if further loss has occurred at no additional cost to you.

  6. The support of family and/or friends.
We encourage everyone to bring a familiar voice along for the appointment. What tends to work best is bringing along a person who’s voice you struggle to hear in normal situations.
