The extent of an untreated hearing loss can negatively impact every aspect of life, isolating people of all ages and effecting their self esteem, ability to learn and be involved in relationships.
We believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to live a hearing life. By giving children the gift of hearing, we allow them to take advantage of their education, giving them every opportunity to create a positive future for themselves.
Therefore, Willoughby is proud to take an active approach to improving the quality of life for children in our community and throughout the world. For this program, Willoughby has partnered with several local organizations to offer the opportunity to get your child plugged back into a better hearing life.
PORTLAND BEAVERS
The Portland Beavers have taken an active role in their community through multiple events. Homeruns for Hearing Aids is just one of their many efforts to improve their community.
KEX 1190 AM / KEX Kid's Fund
Since 1937, the KEX Kid's Fund has provided vision and hearing care to children whose families could not otherwise provide them. They take an active role in the lives of the children they serve, believing that helping children succeed early in life may prevent large problems later.
OREGON LION'S SIGHT & HEARING FOUNDATION
The Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation provides sight and hearing assistance to more than 100,000 Oregonians in need. For nearly 50 years OLSHF has contributed to improving the quality of life for Oregonians with a dedication to volunteerism and service.
THE STARKEY HEARING FOUNDATION
The Starkey Hearing Foundation is committed to providing hearing care to everyone in need. Every year, Starkey conducts more than 150 missions in countries accross the globe "So the World May Hear." These missions include giving away hearing instruments and promoting hearing impairment education.
Since 1949, Willoughby Hearing Aid Centers have been providing Oregonians with quality hearing care and personal service. We believe that it is possible to improve lives through better hearing and we are involved in numerous outreach efforts worldwide.
